Thanks so much for all the great support you've been giving. I've currently raise $1,000 towards the $2,500 I've been working towards for the release of this new album. This is an awesome achievement and I really appreciate all of your contributions. I've even had some who haven't been in a position to pledge much and have given $20. This is a awesome and it's amazing to see how quickly it all adds up.

I have some great gigs coming up with my talented and highly entertaining friend Kathryn Jones. We've been supporting each other in our individual gis as well as performing as a folk/bluegrass/roots duo called 'The Swingin' Cowgirls' (http://www.myspace.com/theswingincowgirls). We've been having a blast and have recently been joined by another local singer/songwriter Vikki Grant who is a talented singer, guitarist and djembe player. Collectively we've been likened to The Andrew's Sisters crossed with Pat Benatar. Awesome! There's lots of energy and dynamics involved which creates a great vibe on stage. Of course we are also loving it when we have the added magic of Anna O'Donnell on fiddle. Kath, Anna and I will be performing on the 29th of July at the Treehouse on Belongil so if you're about we'd love you to join us.
